Radiochemistry Laboratoratory

We offer expertise in radiolabeling various types of molecules with a wide range of radionuclides for SPECT and PET imaging, as well as for radiotherapy. Quality control of radiotracers is performed using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) or thin-layer chromatography (TLC) systems, which are coupled with radiation detectors. The radiochemistry department has two laboratories equipped with shielded hot cells suitable for the radioisotopes handling.

Radiolabeled Compounds

The range of molecules that can be radiolabeled is very broad and varied. Examples include peptides, proteins, organic molecules, nanoparticles, and even living cells. The development of radiolabeling can be supplemented by in vitro stability testing in the radiolabeling medium as well as in plasma (mouse/human).
