The services offered by the GAIA platform can be grouped into two categories:
- Evaluation of the pharmacokinetics, biodistribution, and efficacy of a compound of interest. To this end, the platform develops radiolabeling protocols for the compound of interest and conducts biological assessments. These assessments can be performed on various animal species and models.
- Use of a radiotracer for SPECT or PET in an existing animal model of interest, or for the evaluation of a new therapeutic agent. In this context, the GAIA platform is primarily used for biological evaluations. These may include, for example, tumor growth monitoring, cerebral perfusion measurements, assessments of cardiac perfusion and function, or metabolic studies. The range of available radiotracers is indeed relatively broad, and imaging with several radioisotopes is feasible.
Studies can be conducted as part of our service offerings or through collaboration. For more information, please contact us.
