What is a yESMInar? It is a series of short webinars solely organized by the young ESMI Groups!
Provide an informal platform for extending the professional network of young imaging scientists - especially during these restricted times.

yESMInar series 2021 - Focus on young Imaging Science by youngESMI Groups

WHEN? Every third Wednesday per month starting at 15.00h CET.

HOW LONG? 45 minutes

WHO? The main speaker is an invited young scientists. The subsequent discussion round is led by a senior expert/PI. Each seminar is organized and chaired by a different young ESMI Group.

WHY? Promote the work of young imaging scientists.

How can I participate?
You can join each yESMInar of your choice. You just have to register. Keep in mind that participation is limited to 100 though and make sure to register in time!
Registration is free of charge but obligatory! Registration is limited to 100 participants.
First-come-first-serve rule applies. Webinars will be held via Zoom.

Upcoming yESMInar | first edition on 20th January 2021

This first edition is organized by the Dutch young ESMI Group and chaired by Marieke Stammes and René Raave.

The main speaker is MARTI BOSS. Marti is a postdoc at the Department of Medical Imaging at Radboud University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Her research focusses on imaging of beta cells using exendin. Her talk will focus on imaging and therapy using exendin based tracers in hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia.

The panellist-team is completed by ROGER SCHIBLI who will lead the subsequent discission ruond. Roger is Head of the Center for Radiopharmaceutical Sciences, Full Prof. at the Dept. Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, ETH Zurich and Laboratory Head at the Paul Scherrer Institute – Villigen, Switzerland. Since 2020 Roger is member of the ESMI Board.
